Mother’s Day has become one of the toughest days of the year. I remember being in such a sad space when Mother’s Day would come around because I wanted to be a mom so bad. I would quickly snap out of my feelings because I have an INCREDIBLE Mommy! She deserves all of the celebration! However, sometimes you just can’t help how you feel.
Well, fast forward to 2024 where I have two kids now! One of my greatest accomplishments is becoming a #mom. I love it so much. While this is the most tired I’ve ever felt, my brain is being stretched for the better because I’m constantly thinking about how to be better, and I’m learning to embrace my new body, it’s worth it.
While I love being a mom, and I’m beyond grateful, I always have this feeling of guilt when celebrating. I know what it feels like to want a family. I know what it feels like to be the only one in the group not exchanging stories about what kids are doing. I know what it feels like to want to feel seen and simply understood.
This year, I wrote a letter to #women who deserve to be celebrated this #Mother’sDay weekend. I hope a letter resonates with you! Head over to my Instagram page to check it out!
