Parenting while Pregnant

Let's get into being pregnant with a toddler. I never understood the strength it takes to be pregnant while #parenting a toddler, on top of adulting. Why is no one talking about it?! Maybe someone has, and I missed it. A few things that I've learned in my pregnancy is perseverance, resiliency, and putting pride aside.
If you've met my son, you know that he is a pretty amazing kid. Sometimes he is a toddler, and sometimes he's a 75 year old man (he's an old soul). When he is in toddler mode, we're on the move! We're playing, learning, doing activities and more. Maybe it's just me, but whew, sometimes I just want to snuggle up in my bed and sleep for 5 hours. Not to mention when he has #bigfeelings and #bigemotions I must continue to show him how to regulate his emotions while also regulating mine, simply because the baby inside of me feels every move and every emotion. Deep breathing exercises have truly come in handy.
This pregnancy has brought many emotions due to life changing events in my life, but has also brought attention to what I embody. I'm normally not one to confidently talk about myself, but I have to confidently say that I have embodied regulating emotions, asking and receiving help, allowing myself to transparently show and express my feelings, and resiliency.
While I may be tired, hungry, emotional, nervous (mom of 2 has me so nervous), etc. I am learning so much about myself that I never knew lived inside of me. Parenting while pregnant is a different territory for me, however, God sees strength in me, that I never knew I had.
Even if you're not in my situation, I encourage you to discover what you have embodied this year. You'll be surprised at what you discover!
Sprinkled with Love,
