Sunday Moments…

Listen, sometimes the weekends are just....a lot. For some people, Sundays are a reset day. When you have a toddler, and life is life-ing, each Sunday can look different.

My 3 year old had a cold 3.5 weeks ago, and guess what, we're sick again. You have to love school germs. Not sure about other toddlers out there, but mine is like an adult. We get a little cranky and tired when we don't feel well. Instead of sitting around the house, we went for a long walk; and took the scenic route!

I'm originally from Denver, and honestly never appreciated the beauty until I left. Nowadays, I take every opportunity to find beauty in nature, and I'm teaching my son the same. On our walk while wiping his nose midway, we looked at the trees that are changing colors, identified shapes and colors, and talked about these good ol toddler feelings and emotions. Honestly, the walk was helpful for both of us. He was able to get some fresh air, and I was able to change my scenery.

Today's moments are filled with an inhaler, wipes, and applesauce, but it's also filled with a little joy knowing seasons change, and there really is beauty in nature. If you're a mom who has a sick child, go outside for a good 30 minutes and rejuvenate! We all need it!

Hope you all stay healthy and safe this week!

Chat with you all on Wednesday!
